Algoints
Melding human creativity with computer's energy
Algoints are digital paintings created by executing code written by the artist, no AI is involved, the code is reiterated until it produces what the painter sees in his mind. The code is however allowed a range of options when executing certain operation (for example setting color fill or thickness of a stroke) which results in a unique yet similar output every time the code is run. The possibilities are endless and exciting.
Some algoints use text as a source that is processed and transformed by the algorithm into an image. This PDF of a trifold brochure we printed a while ago explains the process.
