From mountains to cities to closeups and abstractions, capturing images through the lens is an ongoing experiment. And whatever the subject matter is, light is the only force to make any static image alive. Another cache of photography coming soon, although not discarding the power of light entirely focuses instead on the brain’s light, how it makes a story and then yanks it away violently. We won’t call it manipulative but then what is it?
